Saxophone Teacher
If you love the sound of the saxophone, you have come to the right place! The saxophone is one of the easier musical instruments, it has 2 and a half octaves. But what it doesn't have in the amount of notes, it makes up in the differences in tone that you can achieve. You can learn either the Alto, in Eb or the smaller Soprano in Bb. I have even taught young boys 8 years old to play the soprano saxophone!

Do you have a song in your heart?
I started to play the saxophone because at the same time I really wanted to play Jazz. Yes, clarinet can play jazz, but the real jazz sound comes from the saxophone. I play a Yamaha Yas-23 alto and a regular soprano. I find that you have to have a different approach to each instrument, and take it like it a completely different experience. The Alto is smooth and cool, where as the soprano is "in your face, man." I practice on both at different times as suits my moods. If your child is younger and loves the sound of the saxophone, I suggest to try the soprano. It will feel like a bucking bronco, but it is worth the effort in the end!
Recommended Saxophone book
I have used this book to teach Saxophone, either the Alto or the Soprano. There are exercises, duets and modern Israeli songs that most Israeli students know.
